Nourish yourself

Slowing down, letting go and taking your time are all ways to live a less stressful, more joyful life. Yet even with the dangling carrot of those  positive outcomes, it may still be difficult to slow down, let go and take our time. Let's add another piece to this delicious pie of "life". This week it's time to add nourishment. I love that word nourishment. To nourish is to feed, give, receive, to promote growth and development. Nourishment lends itself to balance and wholeness. Nourishment is a form of loving oneself. Participating in nourishing activities, conversations, environments truly promotes self love and the love of those around us. Slowing down, letting go and taking our time are all ways to nourish ourselves. Slowing down and taking our time allows for a calming of our system~ ahh delicious nourishment. Hello Fellow Travelers, Letting go has been the theme of the last two weeks messages. This week's message expands upon this theme, bringing up the much needed message of "taking our time." As we travel along, doing our thing, growing our soul,(aka facing life's challenges)  letting go of limiting beliefs or patterns that no longer serve us, it is important to remember that this soul growth takes time. Lifetimes, really. That is not to say that we won't accomplish some amazing feats, clear out some deep crap and live a more liberated life this time around, yet it is so very important to remember that when we are on the path of self actualization and growth, it will take as long as it needs to. It helps to always remember that our inner wise Self is leading this show. Hello Fellow Travelers, The message for the week is letting go. Letting go is a spiritual practice that allows for the completion of that which is no longer necessary in our lives. Letting go is similar to the spiritual quality of surrender, yet it is not about giving up in defeat. It is about giving up that which we can no longer wish to carry.
