new moon, turning in, connect with Source

Hello Fellow Travelers,
Did you enjoy your week? I hope so!
Here we are coming into a new week with a dark moon. You may feel the energy of this dark new moon calling you to gather your self and retreat inward. A new moon is a time to draw our otherwise outwardly focused energies into our core and just sit with the energy of our inner selves for awhile. What do you hear? What do you see? This aspect of yourself that you connect with as you turn inward is the eternal aspect of yourself. It is your soul. How well do you know this aspect of you?
This aspect of you is timeless. It is the center of your being. Still, alert, watching. It is often called "the witness".

Like a wise Grand-Mother, this aspect watches the antics of your outer self. The dramas play out, the emotions flare, the battles are won or lost. Always this aspect watches and if you connect with the timeless aspect of your being, you will find yourself watching. You will come to understand that in all of time, the one thing that each and every one of us are truly searching for, wanting and going after is LOVE. More love, deeper love, connection to love, awareness and knowing of love.
At the root of all the actions we take, there is always the desire for love. At the root of who we are is the timeless aspect of ourselves, the quiet, still dark moon, witness. And that root is love. You are love. Nothing but pure unconditional love.
Connect with the still, quiet, dark moon witness of your inner core this week. Come home to the love that surges within you at all times. Invite in all the parts of you that play in the dramas of life to come sit for awhile within the depth of the love that exists at the core of your being. Bask in the love, bask in the peace, bask in the stillness. Drink in the love that is you.
It is your cosmic right and it is awaiting your return.

Have a blessed week!
