The New You

Hello Fellow Travelers, 

New moon alert! On February 18 at approx 4:47pm MT, Luna will be in a dark phase at 30 degrees Aquarius. What does this mean? Why is it important? 

It is important because the moon and it's placement directly effects us physically, emotionally and spiritually. It's all about the gravity and it's all about archetypes and esoteric energy. 

The moon is symbolic of the emotional body of each and every one of us. Also when the moon moves, the water upon the planet is pulled and shifts, just as the water within us pulls and shifts, effecting our emotions as well as our physical body. Think tides.

In the esoteric or mystical and archetypal sense, the moon being dark and in the last degree of a sign has it's own significance.

This means, at this time we are coming to a completion somewhere in our lives. It is most likely a completion of a pattern or cycle that had to do with how we live within our own internal lives and within the global picture. How we relate to the whole in regards to giving our gifts and talents to something bigger than ourselves. This is the Aquarian archetype (simplified). 

When the moon is dark it is an excellent time to go within. Take quiet time to reflect, write, journal, meditate or pray. Take time to contemplate your place in the scheme of things, your place in the Universe maybe, or your place in the world, state, local community, neighborhood and family. How have you felt this "place" for you change over the last year or more? Do you have more to say? More to give? More to offer to the good of the whole? Do you want to change how you are in service, or how you see your role now?  Do you care for yourself while you are sharing your service? These are all good things to ask yourself at this time.

Be assured something is completing and you are getting ready to emerge as a more freer, open hearted version of yourself.

The moon is just about to go into the sign of Pisces. Within minutes of the New Moon, it will go from Aquarius into Pisces. What does that bring and what does that mean?

It brings the soul into play in a deeper and more practical way.  Your soul may be urging you to see what the "new you" is. And not just see it, but begin to be it.

This is a time when we acknowledge that our need to be an active part of our world, family, community, etc can be the foundation for our essence (soul) to expand.

The place within yourself where we are all one, cooperative, equal, sharing and where heaven lives is available for you to see, know, feel and acknowledge and express. This place of connection, belonging and oneness is available to be grounded into your life in a very real way. What does that look like? More on that later..

For now, let the completion take over, let the moon pull you into yourself and into the depths of your eternal self. Let yourself swim in that energy for awhile.

This is really the path of the spiritual seeker and this is time when we must sit down under our tree of wisdom, and really look back at how far we have come and where we are now, and just allow that energy to pull us deeper and deeper into our own soul's confidence!

Be confident in the heart energy, the heaven energy, the spirit energy, the soul energy, the authentic you energy and ground it into your very being!
