9/11 Blessing and Request

Hello Fellow Travelers,
May you take a moment out of your day today to pause and reflect on your many blessings. No matter what may be happening for you, take pause. Gather for one moment with me, as you read these words and take in the healing love, the compassion, kindness and grace on offer.
May your day be filled with creating simple memories today.
May you pause many times and fill in the silence with your heart.
May you receive the love on offer, simply because you are here.
May you be reminded that we are all here for short time, and may you make that truth a prayer and a promise to leave the world a better place.
May you then do so, in your own way, with the gifts of your heart.
Blessings to you today.

We each have our own version of life and loss. The world came crashing down for all of us 18 years ago. Never to be the same again. Here we are once more, the anniversary of a tragic day. Each person alive, and each person who has come onto this planet since, were thrown together in a collective version of life and loss. It went something like this; start out our days as usual, and by the end of the day, everything is changed when 2, 977 people plus perished.

We each have our own version of life and loss, yet on that day, it changed all of us forever. Here it is 18 years later and I have lived through my own personal version of life and loss. One day, starting as usual and ending in a way that forever changed my life.

To honor you, to honor all of us who live on after tragic losses, I wish for you to take some moments today, and look around, take in the goodness, take in the beauty, take in the easy moments and the difficult moments. Forgive someone today. Let the temptations to hold yourself and others hostage to emotional pain, be tempered. Take a moment to thank someone today. Take a moment to be kind. Take many moments, so that the tragic day that we lived through 18 years ago, will continue to soften our hearts and heal our world.
At the end of the day, we will all leave this planet some day. Make this day one that honors love.
