Eclipse in Aries - Reveal to heal

Dearest Fellow Travelers,

This week we will experience a total Solar Eclipse. A moment of darkness when the moon interrupts the sun's life-giving qualities from the earth's path. What can you take from this occurrence and have it benefit and assist you?

That is why I love astrology so very much. It is a helpful healing art that uses the energies of the cosmos, the planetary systems, and how they interact. Take this and apply it directly into our lives. The cosmos tell the story of our life, time after time, with helpful anecdotes and wise assurance that all is always working to benefit you! This eclipse/new moon occurs on April 19th at 10:12 pm MT in the sign of Aries at 29•

That is a very Aries message. Aries never backs down, or gives up. If something isn't working out, you know you are just looking in the wrong place. It brings in fearless explorer energy for you this week.

And I say thank the Goddess for Aries! If you are not an Aries sun, moon or rising, you still are greatly affected by this eclipse and can use it for your benefit.

What are the cosmic heart messages as the moon comes between the sun and the earth at the very last degree of Aries?

First off, let's look at the eclipse energies that have been happening for the last year. Taurus and Scorpio. Think fixed energy, water and earth. Together in harmony water and earth are incredibly fruitful and gloriously fertile. Wherever this is occurring in your life, use this Aries Eclipse to fuel the growth.

What has come up to the surface and has needed to be dealt with? Yes, there is a push pull energy that is going to continue for you. Pushing you to go deeper into your healing or revealing. Pulling it out of the depths of your psyche so that it can then be used to create a beautiful and fulfilling life. Well, that is the goal.

Life wants you to tend to your deepest wounds, and heart's desires. This can sometimes be exhausting as both Taurus and Scorpio are relentless in their stances. Scorpio saying get in there and really shake up the status quo, transform that life, and Taurus saying, I am needing a nap and a long moment (preferably with a massage or delicious meal) to remember why I am working so hard. For my own sanity. Both are important.

Step in Aries. Fire and inspiration. The Aries energy is a nice interruption. This cosmic heart energy is letting loose something that has been hanging on for the last year. Aries is just the energy you need for finality and new beginnings. There will be a feeling of needing to settle things once and for all. Close the books, be done, and in the same breath, start anew, look forward.

Remember to be patient with self and others. Aries is impatient, wants to go first, has trail-blazing and pioneering energy. It is a great motivator. Use the motivating energy in ways that make you feel good about yourself and those in your inner circle. Use it to stop and gather some information that will help you in the weeks ahead. Use it to prioritize in ways that put your true needs first. True needs. Sometimes we work so hard to accomplish something, we don't realize how far we have come, how much we have changed.

Taurus and Scorpio when pushing too hard create a lot of mud. Think about where you may have been pushing too hard. Feeling a bit stuck in the mud, or stuck in your ways.

Aries (and its counterpart Libra) when pushed too hard create a fire out of control. Air and fire. Light created by inner desires expressed with great love and devotion.

Where might you be passionately kind to yourself and all you have accomplished thus far? The Sun is hidden for a moment in time, and then reappears with a message that will help you greatly. This is the week to be open for that message of healing, inspiring, Love. What message is coming through for you?


Be extra patient and gentle with yourself, as you are being shown whatever it is you need most. Take it and run with it. That is the energy coming your way.

Last week's message was about the messiness of life, the ups, downs, ins and outs. The minute you think you got it figured out, life will indeed give you something else. There is a lot going on out in the world and we are inundated with it on a moment to moment basis. It seems messier this week than last. What to do? I suggest you delve in and see where it takes you.
