Hello Fellow Travelers,
Happy and Joyous Monday to all of you. After a week of recharging your batteries how do you feel?
Making these commitments to ourselves to turn within, take care of our energy, re-charge and otherwise do deep self care, requires great courage. Yes, the Universe will rise up to support us, AND what also usually happens is that whatsoever does not support us will rise up too!
Making a commitment to oneself to change, allow, grow, heal or self care will bring up in us those ideas, beliefs, issues that hold us back from doing this very thing we commit to.
This is not the Universe, or the Divine's idea of a bad joke, although it may feel like it at times! It is a way to guide us towards what is still needing to heal, or how to bolster our selves. It is a learning and teaching that can greatly assist us.
This phenomenon is reminiscent of the tale of the two wolves. It goes like this~
“This same fight is going on inside of you, grandson…and inside of every other person on this earth.”
The grandson ponders this for a moment and then asks, “Grandfather, which wolf will win?”
The old man smiled and simply said,
Yet, when it comes down to it, the answer to how do we deal with the negativity need not be to fight back per se, although at times it is necessary, the answer can be to acknowledge that we, as well as everyone else have our inner challenges and when they come up as negativity against us, either from within us or from others, we can choose not to feed that wolf, and to generously, graciously and magnanimously feed the wolf that is full of love, joy, peace, faith and trust. Compassion for self and others is a key ingredient.
How will you feed that wolf this week?
Shine your light, feed your light, nourish your light in whatever way soothes your soul and inspires your heart. Have deep compassion for yourself wherever you are. Take good care of that white wolf within and she/he will care for you when the dark wolf enters. Feed yourself well.
When you do so, you will be given guidance and answers from within as to how to deal with the dark wolf when it appears. This is the answer to long lasting change and transformation!
Many blessings

This phenomenon is reminiscent of the tale of the two wolves. It goes like this~
An old Cherokee chief was teaching his grandson about life.
“A fight is going on inside me,” he told the young boy, “a terrible fight between two wolves. One is evil, full of anger, sorrow, regret, greed, self-pity and false pride. The other is good, full of joy, peace, love, humility, kindness and faith.”“This same fight is going on inside of you, grandson…and inside of every other person on this earth.”
The grandson ponders this for a moment and then asks, “Grandfather, which wolf will win?”
The old man smiled and simply said,
“The one you feed.”
On this journey of life, we will be met with inner and outer love and support and we will also be met with inner and outer fear and darkness. Both love and fear will challenge us. Both love and fear will be present. It is good to honor both, examine both, and respect both.Yet, when it comes down to it, the answer to how do we deal with the negativity need not be to fight back per se, although at times it is necessary, the answer can be to acknowledge that we, as well as everyone else have our inner challenges and when they come up as negativity against us, either from within us or from others, we can choose not to feed that wolf, and to generously, graciously and magnanimously feed the wolf that is full of love, joy, peace, faith and trust.
