Living the Dream

Hello Fellow Travelers, 
2016 is about creating the life you are destined to live by awakening your light in whatever way you are called to. Living as an awakened human being is not an easy task. No one is swooping in to take you to a promised land. There are no quick fixes. There are no guarantees that as you love more, live deeply, beleive in harmony, peace and goodness that your life will become easier.
Awakening is a process that once tasted, will take over your whole life. Awakening is about connecting with the core of your power within.Your power to love, to see, to feel, to know more deeply. 
 It requires a whole new perspective of what you are capable and able to do with your life.  The dream of your heart and soul is revealed when you wake uup.  
It may surprise you when those you love and hold dear do not like your "awakened" state. It may surprise you when you start to feel things more deeply and find that uncomfortable emotions are actually your friend, signs and messages from your inner guidance system. Urging you on or away from something that may not be in your best interest. 
Awakening means that you wake up to both the love available and to the pain that is present. They go together.  Yet the awakened human being is one of Spirit. You become one with your spirit, with the spirit in others, you feel the possibilites awaken too. You feel the power and you are drawn to those who can help you acheive a world in which love rules and people are kind and tolerant of each other. Those who also are awakened are drawn to you. You will know them. You will feel it in your soul.
Waking up demands you feel more, give more, be more. But you knew that. It demands you dream, believe in the power of love and become driven by the spirit in you! 
Look around and see how many others are with you. How many others speak, and live a life of peace, justice, equality, love, tolerance, helping, caring and supporting? A lot! Watch them, connect with them, and then turn in and ask yourself, what can you do today to make this world a bit better? 
There are many ways to live this life. 
It's time to follow the dream that lives inside your soul, the dream you have manifested already in many areas of your life.
It's time to live the dream more fully.
On this holiday where we celebrate the man who had a dream that someday people would see beyond the color of his children's skin and treat each other with respect and dignity we are still a long way off from living in this dream. Yet, this long way off can be remedied by you. And me. You and me and many others living as awakened human beings connected deeply to our spirit. 
This dream is one of deep love, peace, harmony, justice, tolerance. It is the dream of an awakened human being. It's your dream, it's mine, it is the dream of many.
Wake up, feel, love, live the dream and make it so our children and children's children will know it to be so.

Hello Fellow Travelers,  We have entered into a cycle of retrograde and this is always a good time to recharge and re-group. Giving ourselves time to replenish creates better flow, healing, clarity and awareness. We all know this, yet sometimes we forget.  The energy leading up to the Mercury Retrograde in the cosmos asks us to better understand the archetype of Mercury. Who is this god and why does he get so much air time lately? How can we use this energy to benefit our lives? In retrograde, Mercury is standing still for a short spell, it is our cue to think before we speak, step back, or stand firm like bamboo. Think twice and then three times before acting or choosing. Life is Messy I and II

Last week's message was about the messiness of life, the ups, downs, ins and outs. The minute you think you got it figured out, life will indeed give you something else. There is a lot going on out in the world and we are inundated with it on a moment to moment basis. It seems messier this week than last. What to do? I suggest you delve in and see where it takes you. First of all, what is messy to you?  You all have your own definition and I would encourage you to find yours and work with it. Messy to me is the opposite of harmony and peace. It is feelings as well as experiences of unrest, unease, discord, disharmony, etc. It's when I or someone I love or care about is hurt, upset or in trouble. Messy is witnessing or being on the receiving end of cruelty in words or deeds. I have experienced my share of messy situations, as has everyone alive today.
