Summer of Love 2

Hello Fellow Travelers, 
This writing is an expansion on the Summer of Love Reading from Sunday 7.24. 
The morning glory blooms in the morning, then hides away in the summer heat, resting all day and night until the rising sun wakes it up and once again it shines in all its glory. They are a true delight to see. 

What it took to see this flower blooming today inspired the message for the week. 

We decide we want something; an experience, a career, education, wealth, a relationship, a beautiful garden or travel. We decide we would like to experience joy, love, adventure, delight, health, bliss, peace, fulfillment, confidence, a releif from pain or suffering. The list is endless. Desire and want is a healthy part of life!
We then go about acquiring that something. The ways we do so are varied and unique to us. 
We may have to find a place to plant the desire. In the case of the beautiful morning glory, there was a nice spot in Gaia's  garden, an old grape vine would support the glory's climbing vine. We then plant the seeds, water, wait, water some more, fertilize. Tend. Hope. Wait some more.
What is actually happening? Something beyond what our eyes can see is going on with soil, sun, seed and timing. Something quite magical that includes each element~fire (sun), water, air, and earth. Each element doing its thing. Something profound happens. A co-creative effort is in full force and the flower grows. 
We are truly living in a web of co-creation. Yes, we have power to create, make things happen, focus our attention, set intentions and choose a course of action.
And we are part of a powerful co-creative web of life. So there comes a time when we leave the rest to these powerful forces; of nature, others desires and actions, the elements, prayer, hope and trust. We do our part, do our best, trust in our desires, trust in the co-creative process, and give it all over to the very real power of LOVE
Life is a complex ride along the co-creative web of life.
Adding LOVE as the force of guidance brings light to every situation, every challenge, every hope, every dream, and every day. 
Love is always, always helpful. 
Be amazed this week as you take time to contemplate your desires, your actions and your very real place within the co-creative web of life. And don't forget to add the special ingredient that powers the co-creative web of life~LOVE.

Boundaries, Bamboo and Birth

Hello Fellow Travelers,  We have entered into a cycle of retrograde and this is always a good time to recharge and re-group. Giving ourselves time to replenish creates better flow, healing, clarity and awareness. We all know this, yet sometimes we forget.  The energy leading up to the Mercury Retrograde in the cosmos asks us to better understand the archetype of Mercury. Who is this god and why does he get so much air time lately? How can we use this energy to benefit our lives? In retrograde, Mercury is standing still for a short spell, it is our cue to think before we speak, step back, or stand firm like bamboo. Think twice and then three times before acting or choosing. Life is Messy I and II

Last week's message was about the messiness of life, the ups, downs, ins and outs. The minute you think you got it figured out, life will indeed give you something else. There is a lot going on out in the world and we are inundated with it on a moment to moment basis. It seems messier this week than last. What to do? I suggest you delve in and see where it takes you. First of all, what is messy to you?  You all have your own definition and I would encourage you to find yours and work with it. Messy to me is the opposite of harmony and peace. It is feelings as well as experiences of unrest, unease, discord, disharmony, etc. It's when I or someone I love or care about is hurt, upset or in trouble. Messy is witnessing or being on the receiving end of cruelty in words or deeds. I have experienced my share of messy situations, as has everyone alive today.
