A Most Holy Time of Year
Hello Fellow Travelers,
This time of year, the end of a calendar year, winter, for many of us, is a sacred and holy time.
Each day can be a sacred and holy time, yet there is something about this time that calls us to go inward and connect to our inner sacred and holy place. I believe it to be the outer darkness, the slow movement and the stillness that is the animal and plant kingdoms time of rest. Nature is all around us, and within us, and we are being beckoned to follow it's call.
What is holy and sacred about going within? It is where you meet your heart and soul and your true longings. It is where outer longings are soothed and you connect with the everlasting stillness that is your Soul. Your inner wisdom, lives within. Your Soul and Heart speak to you from within.
Within you is a perfect light, an essence so strong and holy that it follows you from lifetime to lifetime. It is your eternal flame.
During the time of darkness, withdrawal and quiet, you may access this eternal flame, warm yourself by it's wisdom and be guided by it's light.
You do not have to be adept at any form or practice, simply stop, slow down, and BE your natural self for a few moments in time.
Your light calls to you during this holy and sacred time. Be aware of it's presence, fuel it by listening and partake in the peace on offer.
