Cancer Full Moon January 6 Energy Update
Cancer Full Moon With the Full Moon in the sign of Cancer, we are pulled, called, and maybe forced to sit in the collective emotional home/family structures as well as our personal emotional home/family structures. We do not however need to engage with anything that does not feel nourishing, nurturing, safe and sustaining. Some of these structures are healthy and viable. Some of these structures are not. With the sun in Capricorn, it is wise to take time to evaluate the structures and attune to the ones that nurture, nourish, sustain, feed, hold, and offering belonging. It isn't necessary to do too much intense thinking about this (Mercury retrograde). Instead, feel into it. Offer boundaries to yourself as you feel into the structures mentioned above. Boundaries under the Cancer full moon can look like anything that is nurturing to you. A boundary can be a soothing walk, a bath, a time to be alone, an outing that is fun, coffee with a safe, nonjudgmental friend, or reading a book in bed. Choosing peace is a boundary. Think of boundaries as the offering of safety, security, nourishment and nurturing to yourself. Keep it simple. For in the simple ways you tend to yourself, offering the Cancer needs of nourishing your emotional waters, you shall find what your heart is looking for. What needs to be dissolved and released? As you tend and offer yourself continued nourishment, you will know. You deserve to be a part of a healthy system of family, friends, groups, communities that feel like home to you. It is a basic human need. Each of the 12 zodiac signs speak to basic human needs and pathways of spiritual, mental, emotional and physical health, well-being and evolution. Cancer is the Mother energy. The most life giving, holding, belonging, unconditionally caring and compassionate, guiding force on the planet. It is the energy of the Earth as it holds potential to grow a seed into a tree. It is the energy of the Ocean as it is rich with nourishment, and lots and lots of life. Cancer is shining bright to say to all~ "Even if you haven't had the experience of healthy and nourishing mother energy, I shall show you where it is. Within, and around you. So, find your boundaries of tending to yourself. Say no to anything that feels like a violation or too much right now. Capricorn can be seen as the father energy to Cancer's mother energy. Instead focus on touching the deepest parts of your inner waters and resting there for awhile. Know that you have an inner father/mother/healthy energy of protection and nourishment.
