The shining full moon speaks to me from above. After an intense two weeks I am in deep gratitude for the bright light of hope and promise. A bright deep YES is what this moon is saying. YES, take time for yourself. YES, be a bit gentler with yourself. YES, smile and hug someone today. YES, listen to your innermost self and act on your own behalf. YES, YES, YES. Whatsoever you have been denying yourself from having, now is the time to just say YES. Practice saying yes this week, more times than you say no. Give in to the inner most callings of your heart. Hello Fellow Travelers, This day has inspired me to write the message for the week. The day started out warm, and then got cooler and cooler, then it began to snow, the wind swirling and whipping, garbage flying (it's garbage day in my part of the world) and basically anything not nailed down became tipped, toppled and turvey. The wind is still whipping but the sun has come out, and a bright ending to this chaotic day is to be had. This chaotic, polar opposite weather within one twelve hour period is common this time of the year, yet as common as it is, it can still be unnerving. It can and will unearth, unleash and otherwise unsettle. This type of energy reminds me of the chaos that can appear in our lives at any given moment. Many of us spend a lot of time keeping chaos at bay, or denying it, hiding it or dancing around it. Life is chaotic because chaos is a partner with change. Hate is too great a burden to bear.” This is a quote attributed to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. I chose it to reflect how I feel about all that he stood for and to honor his presence in our world and on our planet. This sums it all up in a simple sentence. It can be extremely complicated, this human experience and careful thought and purposeful action is needed in order to make internal and external change. It also takes a strong connection to something bigger than yourself. That something is your own spirit (the source of love) as well as a deep and abiding connection with the life force energy that is pure unconditional love.
